It is estimated that Parkinson’s disease (PD) affects nearly 1 million people in the United States and more than 6 million people worldwide. In this paper, we discuss staffing and data challenges to trial enrollment, locating trial patients, engaging with research partners, and alleviating patient burden for Parkinson’s clinical trial participants.
