Research Study for Healthy Volunteers 18 to 55 years old at PPD Austin

• The study’s purpose is to test the interaction effects of two drugs. 

• The study drug is being developed as a potential treatment for hepatic encephalopathy. 

• Healthy volunteers without hepatic encephalopathy are needed at this stage of research.

• This is a research study, and your participation is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time. 

• Healthy Adults  

• 18 to 55 years old

• Must not have used nicotine- or tobacco-containing products for six months before first dosing 

• Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician 

• Available and willing to commit to study visit structure – You will be asked to stay in our clinic for 6 nights (two separate 3-night stays) and participate in 1 post-study phone call.
