What area interests you?
We are connected to patients by helping to improve health across hundreds of products, dosage forms and therapeutic areas. Our scientists perform analytical testing on investigational and licensed drugs to support chemistry, manufacturing and controls (CMC) pharmaceutical development through industry-leading method development, validation and stability, release and quality control testing. In the past three years, we have contributed to more than 30 drug therapies that have gained regulatory approval and are available on the commercial market. As a market leader in providing GMP analytical services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, we have state-of-the-art labs in Middleton, a suburb of Madison, Wisconsin, and Athlone, Ireland.
What we do can help change the outcome of people’s lives. We help customers understand the safety and efficacy of drugs in patients by conducting inclusion testing, safety and efficacy testing and exploratory biomarker studies. We provide high-quality data across a wide range of technologies and applications for all phases of pharmaceutical development. Our single global database enables us to test regionally and to combine data globally. With our innovative enterprise and information management systems, we provide integrated-lab and clinical-management data in real time, so that project teams can make more informed decisions sooner.
Colleagues in our bioanalytical lab bring extensive technical and scientific expertise — including small molecules and biologics — to the variety of projects we collaborate on each day. We measure the drug and its metabolites to understand the drug with the body by conducting healthy volunteer safety studies, patient efficacy studies, drug testing and immunogenicity testing for large molecules. We deliver precise and timely analysis of samples across a range of platforms, with an unmatched history of accurate, high-quality results. Over the last five years alone, our lab has helped develop more than 4,500 compounds.
Through our PPD®Functional Service Partnership (FSP) solutions, we create a sustained group of talent within a customer's organization to provide long-term support. As a full-time, on-site presence, we show our positive attitudes. We are exposed to a variety of industry-leading roles and emerging pharmaceutical and analytical technologies while enjoying Thermo Fisher Scientific's generous benefits, training and advancement opportunities.
Our Vaccine Sciences lab provides a full range of vaccine testing services, with a focus on incorporating cost and operational efficiencies that move life-changing vaccines to market faster. Our expert laboratory professionals build upon three decades of pharmaceutical development expertise to support vaccine programs across development stages, from pre-clinical through post-approval. Our extensive capabilities ensure the development of innovative analytical methods and accurate, high-quality and rapid vaccine test results. Our scientists have been directly involved in the development of the assays used to license marketed vaccines. Our regulatory experts can help expedite the approval process through in-depth knowledge of FDA requirements and evolving expectations. We have supported the licensure of new vaccines with assay development, high-throughput testing and responses to regulatory agencies post-submission.
