Open to all colleagues, these vibrant, colleague-led global communities provide opportunities to connect, collaborate and celebrate our vibrant culture. These communities also create spaces to support and learn from one another, share experiences and solve business challenges.

Our BRGs reflect our 4i Values — integrity, intensity, innovation, and involvement — and promote inclusive behaviors such as humility, curiosity, generosity, and transparency. Colleagues can choose to participate in or get involved with any number of BRGs, which often center around common threads that unite our global population such as personal heritage, interests and generations. Through their work, they help create consistent, values-aligned experiences where colleagues across geographies and backgrounds feel involved and supported.

Jon’s transition from military to civilian life at Thermo Fisher Scientific
 After completing my bachelor’s degree in nuclear physics, I served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps as an Armored Calvary Reconnaissance Officer and completed multiple tours of duty. However, the shift from military to civilian life was not an easy transition as I spent 9 months as an unemployed homeless veteran, living out of my Jeep Wrangler with my Pitbull. Things began to turnaround when I joined Thermo Fisher Scientific.
